Controlling ash dieback in London, CR and BR postcodes
Felling sections of infected trees in high target areas
The City of London Corporation hired us to fell sections of trees infected with ash dieback in the following areas:
- Coulsdon Common, CR3
- New Hill, CR5
- Kenley Common, CR8
- West Wickham Common, BR4
Ash dieback is a serious tree disease that requires infected or at risk trees to be either felled or section felled. While some areas are mechanised, high target areas need to be treated manually and are more sensitive to heavy machinery.
During this job we also widened pathways with high footfall, improving user experience for the area.
