Tree felling in Epsom, KT18
Making way for a new housing development
It’s often the case that a lot of work needs to be done to prepare land for development. We helped Canbury Construction to clear a number of trees to make space for a new housing development.
Trees which needed removing included beech, cherry, common lime, horse chesnut and leylandii.
Stump grinding was employed when areas were more sensitive, i.e. when nearby structures needed to be retained and digging out would not be practical.
We conducted meetings with the arboricultural consultant and the local tree officer to ascertain which trees were to be retained and which ones could be removed.
